CVSS v3.1 |
| IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.0, 12.1, and 12.2 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to a stack-based buffer overflow. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow in the _RdbLoadEntity function of the RDB graph decoders (src/serializers/decoders/*/decode_graph_entities.c) in FalkorDB before 4.18.4 allows a remote attacker who can issue Redis replication commands (for example, against an instance with no password configured) to cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code by supplying a crafted RDB stream with an attacker-controlled entity property count. The count sizes two variable-length arrays on the thread stack with no upper bound, and the decoder then fills them with attacker-supplied values. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow in the illumos reparse point daemon (reparsed) allows a local user to crash the daemon. get_fs_locations() in usr/src/cmd/fs.d/nfs/rp_basic/libnfs_basic.c, part of the nfs-basic reparse plugin, copies the host and path components of a reparse string into a fixed 1024-byte stack buffer without checking their length. The reparsed door at /var/run/reparsed_door is readable by all users and the door server does not check the caller's credentials, so an unprivileged local user can send an nfs-basic request with an overlong host or path component to overflow the buffer. On systems built with stack protection, which is the default, this causes reparsed to abort; repeated requests place the svc:/system/filesystem/reparse service into maintenance. The service is disabled by default. The flaw has existed since 2009 (illumos-gate commit 2f172c55), and affects any illumos distribution prior to illumos-gate commit 6a2df4aa. |
| SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. In 3.6.1 and earlier, MaybeFlipBitmap() asks GDI+ to read the attacker-controlled PropertyTagOrientation size through GetPropertyItem() while supplying only a fixed 64-byte buf on the stack. Opening a crafted TIFF with enough EXIF Orientation values can cause attacker-selected bytes to overwrite stack control data, while tested builds terminate through the stack cookie check. No broader impact is claimed beyond the advisory-supported conditions. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| An
unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability exists in Tapo C325WB v2 in the
RTSP streaming service on TCP port 554 when the Camera Account feature is
enabled. A crafted pair of RTSP-over-HTTP tunneling requests can cause memory
corruption and crash the streaming daemon.
Successful
exploitation may allow an unauthenticated adjacent-network attacker to disrupt
live video and related streaming functions until the affected service recovers
or restarts. |
| TP-Link Tapo
C500 v2.0 contains an out-of-bounds stack write vulnerability in its ONVIF PTZ
SOAP handlers. An authenticated ONVIF client can submit an excessive number of
preset-related elements, causing writes beyond the bounds of fixed-size stack
arrays and resulting in a crash of the affected service.
Successful
exploitation may allow an authenticated attacker to cause the affected service
to crash, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. Repeated exploitation may
repeatedly disrupt camera management and PTZ-related functionality until the
service recovers or restarts. |
| Buffer overflow vulnerabilities exist in the affected interface of AOS-S. Successful exploitation could allow an authenticated remote attacker to cause a denial-of-service condition on the affected system. |
| On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points with captive portal, or application firewall enabled on at least one SSID, a vulnerability in the wireless gateway service could allow an unauthenticated network-adjacent attacker to send a crafted packet that triggers a stack overflow, resulting in a denial-of-service condition or potentially execute arbitrary code on the device. The wireless gateway service is automatically restarted after a crash, allowing repeated exploitation attempts. |
| On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points, a memory corruption vulnerability exists in access point's wired uplink network endpoints. An unauthenticated attacker can crash the sensor service or potentially achieve remote code execution. Exploitation requires the attacker to be on the same network segment as the access point's wired uplink. |
| On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points, an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the capture service can send a crafted packet to cause the service to crash or potentially achieve remote code execution. This exploit requires an uncommonly used non-default streaming mode. |
| VMware Workstation and Fusion contain a stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability in HGFS. A malicious actor with local administrative privileges on a virtual machine may exploit this issue to execute code as the virtual machine's VMX process running on the host.
Affected versions:
- VMware Workstation: 25H2, 26H1 (fixed in 26H1u1)
- VMware Fusion: 25H2, 26H1 (fixed in 26H1u1) |
| A vulnerability in the VXLAN Operation, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) feature of Cisco NX-OS Software, known as NGOAM, could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS) on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper input validation of IP traffic when the NGOAM feature is enabled. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted packets to an IP interface on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes resulting in a reload and DoS condition. |

| A vulnerability in the Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6) Operation, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) feature of Cisco NX-OS Software, known as NGOAM, could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper input validation of IP traffic when the NGOAM and SRv6 features are enabled. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted packets to an IP interface on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes resulting in a reload and DoS condition. |
| A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections. |
| Poppler 0.42.0 through 26.10.0 contains a stack-based buffer overflow in Decrypt::revision6Hash() that allows attackers controlling the password to overwrite stack memory when opening AESV3/R6 encrypted PDFs. Attackers can supply a password longer than 127 bytes through applications using the libpoppler, libpoppler-glib or C++ API to overflow the K1 and E buffers, crashing the process or corrupting memory. |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability in fmt_entry function in progs/dump_entry.c:1116 in ncurses 6.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted command. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the SNMP daemon request handling of Brocade Fabric versions before 10.0.1. When processing an incoming SNMPv3 packet, an internal statistics gathering handler copies user-supplied context name data into a fixed-size buffer without properly validating the length of the string. A remote, unauthenticated attacker (under default configuration) can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted SNMPv3 packet, leading to memory corruption, daemon crash (Denial of Service), or potential arbitrary code execution. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the spamBlocker (spamd) service of WatchGuard Fireware OS allows an authenticated attacker with administrator privileges to crash the service or potentially execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted management request. |
| IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code due to a buffer overflow. |
