CVSS v3.1 |
| The LifterLMS – WP LMS for eLearning, Online Courses, & Quizzes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 10.2.1 via deserialization of untrusted input . This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. This vulnerability is only exploitable during lesson creation when a temporary lesson ID triggers the custom metadata path, and requires the attacker to hold a role with the edit_course capability, such as Instructor, Instructor's Assistant, LMS Manager, or Administrator. |
| The Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.8 via the get_file_path. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract download exported order CSV files containing customer PII — including names, billing and shipping addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and order contents — directly over HTTP with no authentication. This is exploitable whenever the .htaccess and index.php guard files are absent from wp-content/webtoffee_export/, which can occur after any uninstall/reinstall cycle, migration, backup restore, or staging sync, since the export directory persists but its guard files do not; export filenames follow a fully deterministic second-precision timestamp pattern, making them brute-forceable across any suspected export window. |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.13 and 2.16.1, cross-host request replay updates the current request but leaves the target request and related proxy context pointing at the original origin. Connection-pool selection, CONNECT handling, realm selection, and TLS setup can consequently send the original host's path, Host header, Authorization credentials, or plaintext request to the replay destination. Documented ResponseFilter failover and retry paths can trigger the replay. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.13 and 2.16.1. |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.13 and 2.16.1, Realm.Builder treats a Digest challenge that yields no usable nonce as a Basic challenge. A malicious origin or proxy can label a challenge Digest while omitting or emptying the nonce, causing the client to resend the username and password using reversible Basic authentication. Both origin and proxy challenge parsers are affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.13 and 2.16.1. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56, a crafted image can cause an invalid memory free in the MVG decoder and crash the process. This issue is fixed in versions 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package improperly validated mapping-style markdown_extensions configuration. An authenticated attacker who can register or influence an SCM-backed documentation source may bypass TechDocs sanitization and cause Python objects to be imported and instantiated in the generator runtime, leading to arbitrary code execution. Earlier fixes in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4 did not fully address the supported mapping representation of markdown_extensions. Impact is greatest when documentation generation runs with backend credentials, filesystem access, or internal network access. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1. |
| The cleanup of tempfile.TemporaryDirectory is vulnerable to a race condition. An attacker who can modify the tree during cleanup can replace a directory with a symbolic link, causing files outside of the temporary directory to be deleted or have their permissions and file flags reset, with the privileges of the process performing the cleanup. Note that platforms where shutil.rmtree.avoids_symlink_attacks is false, remain affected, and file flags may still be reset outside of the tree on all platforms. |
| Contao is an Open Source CMS. From version 5.7.0 until 5.7.12, TableAccessVoter::hasAccessToModule() in core-bundle/src/Security/Voter/DataContainer/TableAccessVoter.php caches authorization decisions using only $tokenHash, a hash of the user's security token, and omits the table returned by getDataSource(). If one request first checks a table allowed to the user and then a different denied table, the voter can reuse the allowed result, while DefaultDataContainerVoter can convert an incorrect abstention into a grant. A low-privileged backend user can consequently read, create, update, or delete records in tables outside assigned module permissions, including tables containing member or newsletter-subscriber data. This issue is fixed in version 5.7.12. |
| Mindwtr is a free offline-first task management application for desktop and mobile. Prior to 1.1.5, the mobile application writes the Cloud sync bearer token and WebDAV password to unencrypted AsyncStorage under @mindwtr_cloud_token and @mindwtr_webdav_password. A party with access to the application database or an exposed device backup can recover these credentials and use them to access the user's synchronized tasks and attachments. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.5. |
| Insertion of sensitive information into log file in AWS Tools for PowerShell before 5.0.306 might allow local users to recover an IAM user's cleartext AWS Management Console password from command output and log artifacts.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 5.0.306 or later. After upgrading, review PowerShell transcripts and log stores for previously disclosed passwords and rotate any affected IAM console passwords. |
| A flaw was found in busybox. The tar applet's deferred link-creation handling for symlink and hardlink entries with unsafe-looking targets does not validate that the resolved destination remains inside the extraction directory once the deferred link is created. An attacker can craft a tar archive using a symlink target of exactly '..' combined with a deferred hardlink to create a new file outside the extraction directory, or reuse an extraction directory across two archives to replace an existing file outside it. If the archive is extracted with elevated privileges, this flaw can lead to privilege escalation or arbitrary code execution. |
| The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.35.0, ConnectionFactoryConfigurator.load() includes the raw uri value in wrapped exceptions when AMQP URI parsing fails. Because the URI may contain a plaintext username and password, startup logs, application performance monitoring systems, CI logs, and copied stack traces can disclose broker credentials to users who should not have access to them. This issue is fixed in version 5.35.0. |
| Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. From 2.0.0 until 2.5.0, Nginx UI accepts the Node.Secret master credential through the node_secret query parameter in HTTP and WebSocket authentication paths instead of requiring the X-Node-Secret header. The credential can consequently appear in access logs, proxy logs, browser history, Referer headers, configuration URLs, and deployment environment data. A party that obtains the secret can bypass normal password, JWT, session, and second-factor checks and obtain persistent administrative API access, including access to configuration and secret material. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.0. |
| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling (CWE-770) during Java object deserialization in Google Guava versions 4.0 through 33.7.1 allows an attacker to cause a Denial of Service via OutOfMemoryError. When deserializing CompactHashMap, CompactHashSet, or MapMakerInternalMap instances, Guava eagerly allocates an array based on a caller-specified size parameter without throttling, permitting memory exhaustion from crafted serialization streams. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by techdocs arbitrary file read via mkdocs snippets. Unsafe path resolution in TechDocs source tree handling allows an authenticated user who can register documentation sources to include content from outside the intended documentation boundary. Depending on deployment, this may expose files readable by the build process. This issue is fixed in version 1.15.4. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by potential file exposure through local techdocs publisher. When using the local TechDocs publisher (techdocs.publisher.type: 'local'), it was possible for the documentation serving endpoint to follow filesystem references outside the intended documentation tree, potentially exposing host files to authenticated users. This is mitigated by the fact that exploration requires preconditions that do not arise through normal MkDocs operation. Cloud-based publishers (S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage) are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.15.4. |
| Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. From 2.0.0 until 2.5.0, internal/backup/restore.go extracts inner archives before applying the restore_nginx and restore_nginx_ui flags and permits symlinks targeting the live Nginx configuration path. An authenticated user who can create and restore backups can craft a valid backup that places a symlink in the staging tree and then writes a regular file through that link, even when both restore flags are false. This can persistently inject configuration or cause denial of service when the modified files are later consumed. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.0. |
| A flaw was found in ansible-core. When installing a collection with
`ansible-galaxy collection install`, the archive extractor validates member
paths using lexical path normalisation (os.path.abspath) instead of resolving
symbolic links (os.path.realpath), and it performs no containment check on
symlink-typed directory members before creating them. A crafted collection
tarball can chain symlink directory entries so that a subsequent file member is
written outside the intended destination directory. This allows an attacker who
can get a victim to install a malicious collection to overwrite arbitrary files
with the privileges of the user running ansible-galaxy, leading to code
execution on the control node. This is a bypass of the fix for CVE-2020-10691. |
| On Windows, when the target of Root.Mkdir or Root.MkdirAll is a junction pointing to an empty location, the operation can create a directory at the junction target even when that target is located outside the root. This only applies to operations where the last path component is a junction (path/to/junction, but not path/junction/target). |
| Banks generates meaningful LLM prompts using a simple template language. Prior to 2.5.1, Banks DirectoryPromptRegistry does not reject symbolic links for index.json or discovered and existing .jinja prompt files. In an application where untrusted users can influence a prompt directory, DirectoryPromptRegistry._scan() and DirectoryPromptRegistry.get() can follow a link outside the registry root and disclose a file, while DirectoryPromptRegistry.set(), DirectoryPromptRegistry._save(), and DirectoryPromptRegistry._load() can read or overwrite an external link target. The issue requires attacker influence over the registry directory or its extracted contents. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1. |
