CVSS v3.1 |
| OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, the multipart loop in internal/bodyprocessors/multipart.go executes defer temp.Close() for every uploaded file part, so each temporary-file descriptor remains open until the complete request returns. An unauthenticated attacker can submit a multipart body containing many minimal file parts and exhaust the process file-descriptor table within the request-body size limit, causing os.CreateTemp failures, MULTIPART_STRICT_ERROR responses, blocked legitimate uploads, and process-wide inability to open files or sockets. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0. |
| A missing release of resources in the illumos name service cache daemon (nscd) allows a local user to exhaust kernel memory. The nscd door server procedure, switcher() in usr/src/cmd/nscd/nscd_frontend.c, does not close file descriptors that are passed with a door call but not used by the request, and the main nscd door at /var/run/name_service_door accepts passed descriptors from any user in its zone. Because nscd also runs with an unlimited file descriptor limit, an unprivileged local user, including one in a non-global zone, can repeatedly pass a descriptor to its zone's nscd in a door_call() loop, causing the file descriptor table of nscd to grow without bound in kernel memory. This causes a denial of service of nscd and can render processes in all zones on the host unresponsive. The flaw has existed since 2006 (illumos-gate commit cb5caa98), and affects any illumos distribution prior to illumos-gate commit af810a72. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
memstick: ms_block: destroy io_queue workqueue on removal
msb_init_disk() creates the per-card ordered workqueue msb->io_queue with
alloc_ordered_workqueue(). It is torn down with destroy_workqueue() only
on the init error path; msb_remove() never destroys it. msb_stop() merely
flushes the queue, and neither msb_data_clear() nor put_disk() free it. As
a result every card insert/remove cycle leaks the workqueue and its
kworker, exhausting kernel memory over repeated cycles.
Destroy the workqueue in msb_remove() after the disk has been removed and
the queue drained. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mmc: sdio_uart: fix xmit_fifo leak when the port table is full
sdio_uart_add_port() allocates the transmit fifo before claiming a
slot in sdio_uart_table[]. When all UART_NR slots are taken, it
returns -EBUSY with the fifo still allocated, but the probe error
path only kfree()s the port, leaking the transmit fifo.
Free the fifo in the failure path of sdio_uart_add_port() itself so
the function retains nothing on error. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/vma: correctly unaccount on mmap_prepare() failure
__mmap_setup() accounts memory for relevant mappings via:
security_vm_enough_memory_mm()
-> __vm_enough_memory()
-> vm_acct_memory()
If __mmap_setup() fails, this indicates that this accounting did not take
place, and thus it's appropriate for __mmap_region() to jump to
abort_munmap.
However if call_mmap_prepare() fails, it also jumps there and any accounted
memory is not correctly unaccounted.
Fix this by handling each error separately. |
| This CVE ID has been rejected as a duplicate. |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local user can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by exploiting a race condition in the autofs responder between asynchronous enumeration completion and map invalidation. By repeatedly sending concurrent map enumeration and invalidation requests, an attacker can cause memory to leak, leading to excessive memory consumption that can disrupt or crash the autofs service. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: fix rmmio iounmap skipped on device removal
amdgpu_pci_remove() calls drm_dev_unplug() before fini_sw(), so
drm_dev_enter() is already false there and the iounmap() guarded by it
is skipped. This .remove path runs on both hot-unplug and plain rmmod,
so the register BAR ioremap mapping leaks one instance per unload.
Unmap rmmio unconditionally (guard only on non-NULL) and drop the now
unused idx.

| Strawberry GraphQL is a library for creating GraphQL APIs. From 0.312.3 until 0.327.2, the legacy graphql-ws subscription handler in strawberry/subscriptions/protocols/graphql_ws/handlers.py does not remove naturally completed operations from self.tasks and self.subscriptions. When max_subscriptions_per_connection is configured, a client on a persistent WebSocket connection can use distinct operation IDs for one-shot subscriptions to fill the connection's configured slots even after those subscriptions send complete, causing later legitimate operations on that connection to be rejected with Subscription limit reached. The modern graphql-transport-ws protocol and deployments without the configured per-connection cap are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.327.2. |
| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel 4.18 through 5.6.11 when unprivileged user namespaces are allowed. A user can create their own PID namespace, and mount a FUSE filesystem. Upon interaction with this FUSE filesystem, if the userspace component is terminated via a kill of the PID namespace's pid 1, it will result in a hung task, and resources being permanently locked up until system reboot. This can result in resource exhaustion. |
| mwifiex_tm_cmd in drivers/net/wireless/marvell/mwifiex/cfg80211.c in the Linux kernel before 5.1.6 has some error-handling cases that did not free allocated hostcmd memory, aka CID-003b686ace82. This will cause a memory leak and denial of service. |
| Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 2.10.0 until 2.53.0, streamed requests made through ConcurrencyLimitedModel or limit_model_concurrency can retain shared concurrency slots because anyio.CapacityLimiter associates an acquired slot with the borrowing task while streaming cleanup can run in a different task. Early stream termination, cancellation, consumer exceptions, or complete stream_text() consumption with debounce_by=0.1 can therefore leave capacity occupied, eventually preventing later requests that share the long-lived limiter from proceeding and causing a denial of service. Agent-level max_concurrency and non-streaming model requests are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 2.53.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: stmmac: fix dma mapping leak in stmmac_tso_xmit()
In stmmac_tso_xmit(), if the DMA mapping of an skb fragment fails, the
frame is dropped but the DMA mappings already created for the linear
part and for the fragments mapped before the failure are never
unmapped, leaking DMA mappings.
Fix the leak by walking back over the descriptors used by the frame and
releasing each of them with stmmac_free_tx_buffer(). Moreover, release
the descriptors with stmmac_release_tx_desc() unmapping the DMA buffers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: core: Run queues for all non-SDEV_DEL devices from scsi_run_host_queues
While a SCSI host is in a recovery state, scsi_mq_requeue_cmd() will not
set the requeue list for a requeued command to be kicked in the future.
The expectation is a call to scsi_run_host_queues() will kick all SCSI
devices once the recovery state is cleared.
However, scsi_run_host_queues() uses shost_for_each_device() which uses
scsi_device_get() and so will ignore devices in a partially removed
state like SDEV_CANCEL. But these devices may also have requeued
requests, leaving their requests stuck from not being kicked and causing
the removal process of the device to hang.
scsi_run_host_queues() needs to run against more devices than the macro
shost_for_each_device() allows. Instead of using the too limiting
scsi_device_get() state checks, only ignore devices in SDEV_DEL state or
when unable to acquire a reference. Attempt to run the queues for all
other devices when scsi_run_host_queues() is called. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ethtool: rss: fix indir_table and hkey leak on get_rxfh failure
rss_prepare_get() allocates the indirection table and hash key buffer
via rss_get_data_alloc(), then calls ops->get_rxfh() to populate them.
If get_rxfh() fails, the function returns an error without freeing
the allocation. |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. An issue in the Kerberos Credential Manager (KCM) responder allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by maintaining a persistent connection and repeatedly storing and destroying credentials. Because the service fails to release cached objects from memory when credentials are removed, memory consumption grows continuously, ultimately exhausting available memory and rendering the service unresponsive. |

| improper handling of exceptional conditions, Missing release of resource after effective lifetime vulnerability in Apache Thrift java bindings.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-31, a crafted Magick script can cause an opened file pointer to remain unclosed, allowing repeated processing to exhaust available file descriptors. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2-31. |
