CVSS v3.1 |
EspoCRM before 10.0.6 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that accepts a login stopped at the second factor on routes not requiring authentication. Attackers knowing a 2FA-enabled user's username and password can skip the second factor to read config parameters not exposed publicly.
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. During SASL PLAIN authentication, a stale identity carried in a Cyrus SASL auxiliary property from a prior failed bind attempt can be installed on a connection following a subsequent, unrelated successful bind, regardless of which SASL mechanism completes that second bind. An attacker can send a SASL PLAIN bind as cn=Directory Manager with an incorrect password, then complete a SASL ANONYMOUS bind on the same connection, causing the server to grant Directory Manager authority without any valid credentials. A variant using a valid low-privileged account's own successful bind instead of an anonymous one is also possible.
IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote attacker to obtain administrative access due to failure to reject empty passwords during LDAP authentication.
An identity-verification weakness in Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway allowed the gateway to act on the Kiteworks platform on behalf of a user it had not authenticated, and to provision a platform account for an identity it did not already know. A remote, unauthenticated sender could potentially exploit this to obtain control of a platform account.
Improper authentication in a Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway administrative service. An administrative service in Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway did not consistently enforce administrator authentication, so the required password check could be bypassed. An attacker who referenced a valid administrator account could potentially create, modify, or delete internal users and managed domains and change their security-feature configuration without authenticating; deleting a managed domain also removes its user accounts and could lock administrators out of the gateway.
Gitea accepted pushed Git trees containing two entries with the same name, which Git's own consistency checks reject. Gitea's web views resolved such a path to the first entry, while `git checkout`, Gitea Actions, and release archives use the last. A contributor could open a pull request whose diff and file views show benign content while CI and checkouts at the same commit use different, attacker-controlled content. Incoming objects are now checked for consistency; objects already stored in existing repositories are not rescanned.
Gitea's OAuth2 and OpenID Connect sign-in paths do not require a WebAuthn challenge when WebAuthn is the account's only configured second factor. A party able to authenticate through the affected external identity flow can obtain a full session without the passkey verification enforced during password login. One affected path can also persist an external identity link, extending the compromise beyond the initial session; accounts with TOTP configured are outside the reported WebAuthn-only scenario.
Gitea's OAuth2 token endpoint verified the signature and grant of a token submitted with the `refresh_token` grant type, but not that the token was a refresh token. An unexpired access token for the same OAuth2 application and grant could be exchanged for a new access token and refresh token. Whoever holds such an access token could keep access beyond the token's original lifetime.
Authentication bypass vulnerabilities exist in the web-based management and API interfaces of HPE Networking ClearPass Policy Manager. Successful exploitation could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to circumvent existing authentication controls and gain administrative access to the affected system.
A missing integrity verification vulnerability exists in the OnGuard agent of ClearPass Policy Manager. Successful exploitation could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected endpoint with the elevated privileges of the agent.
Vulnerabilities have been identified in the affected interface of ClearPass Policy Manager that could potentially allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to circumvent existing authentication controls. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the affected system.
Express Gateway through 1.16.11 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the OAuth 2.0 refresh_token grant that fails to validate the token secret or issuing client. Attackers with any valid client credentials and the identifier portion of another user's refresh token can obtain that user's access token and impersonate them against oauth2-protected APIs.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to perform unauthorized actions due to improper authentication and missing authorization.
wger is a free, open-source workout and fitness manager. Versions prior to 2.6 have a vulnerability in the authentication/session lifecycle of `wger` where bearer-style API credentials remain valid after a user logs out and after a user changes their password. An attacker who steals a victim’s DRF authtoken (`Authorization: Token ...`) or JWT refresh token can continue to access protected `/api/v2/*` endpoints until the token is manually rotated/deleted (DRF token) or naturally expires (JWT refresh). Version 2.6 contains a patch.
A missing/improper authentication vulnerability in the WatchGuard AuthPoint Gateway's LDAP Sync first-factor authentication allows a remote attacker to bypass single-factor password verification under non-default operating conditions. Additional authentication factors still apply.
When Gitea's web installer is reachable against a database that already contains users, such as after `INSTALL_LOCK` has been reset to `false`, submitting the install form with an administrator username matching an existing account issued an authenticated session for that account without verifying its password. If the account is an administrator, the session grants full administrative access, including changing the account's password. Databases with a single user also did not require the reinstall confirmation.
| On MISP instances configured to require TOTP enrolment (Security.otp_required), the enforcement of the mandatory two-factor authentication setup applied only to standard browser requests. An authenticated user who had not yet enrolled in TOTP could bypass the forced setup by issuing any non-browser request type, including AJAX/XHR calls, REST API requests, .json format URLs, restSearch queries, or automation actions. Because these machine-readable request shapes cannot follow the redirect that the browser path uses to send the user to the TOTP enrolment page, the guard simply skipped the check and the user retained full access to the instance without completing the required second-factor setup.
The initial fix (commit 8deb0619e) added a guard specifically for AJAX requests. A follow-up fix (commit 6b527ba6e) broadened the guard to cover every non-browser request shape, while preserving the exemption for identities authenticated via API key (logged_by_authkey flag).
Impact: an authenticated user on an otp_required instance can operate with full access indefinitely without enrolling in TOTP, nullifying the instance-level two-factor authentication policy.
Affected version: <2.5.48 |
When password or public key authentication is used with the Windows port of wolfSSHd, the Windows logon token acquired for one authenticated connection is not released before a token is acquired for a subsequent connection, resulting in user login poisoning between connections. A less privileged user with a valid account on the server can exploit this to force a login as a more privileged user. The vulnerability was introduced with the initial Windows port of wolfSSHd in wolfSSH version 1.4.15 and affects all versions through 1.5.0. Non-Windows builds of wolfSSHd are not affected.
Northstar (dromara/northstar, quantitative trading platform) <= 9.1.1 enables the H2 Console but its auth interceptor only covers /northstar/**, so /h2-console is exposed with no authentication and the embedded H2 DB uses default sa / empty password. Any network-reachable attacker can run arbitrary system commands via CREATE ALIAS (pre-auth RCE).
A weakness has been identified in kishor-23 food-waste-management-system 411989e3ecb82895e53dca7865f72145f03d7d93/b3a70b2c492dc9904de5be1ad9389bd79b87f82c. Affected is an unknown function of the file admin/signup.php of the component Admin Signup. This manipulation of the argument sign causes missing authentication. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
