CVE-2019-17531 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more 33 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 30 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.0.0 through 2.9.10. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint and the service has the apache-log4j-extra (version 1.2.x) jar in the classpath, and an attacker can provide a JNDI service to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload.
CVE-2019-16942 6 Debian, Fasterxml, Fedoraproject and 3 more 37 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Fedora and 34 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.0.0 through 2.9.10. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint and the service has the commons-dbcp (1.4) jar in the classpath, and an attacker can find an RMI service endpoint to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload. This issue exists because of org.apache.commons.dbcp.datasources.SharedPoolDataSource and org.apache.commons.dbcp.datasources.PerUserPoolDataSource mishandling.
CVE-2019-16335 6 Debian, Fasterxml, Fedoraproject and 3 more 26 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Fedora and 23 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.9.10. It is related to com.zaxxer.hikari.HikariDataSource. This is a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-14540.
CVE-2019-14892 3 Apache, Fasterxml, Redhat 13 Geode, Jackson-databind, Decision Manager and 10 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
A flaw was discovered in jackson-databind in versions before 2.9.10, 2.8.11.5 and 2.6.7.3, where it would permit polymorphic deserialization of a malicious object using commons-configuration 1 and 2 JNDI classes. An attacker could use this flaw to execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2019-14540 6 Debian, Fasterxml, Fedoraproject and 3 more 28 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Fedora and 25 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.9.10. It is related to com.zaxxer.hikari.HikariConfig.
CVE-2019-14439 6 Apache, Debian, Fasterxml and 3 more 20 Drill, Debian Linux, Jackson-databind and 17 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.9.2. This occurs when Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint and the service has the logback jar in the classpath.
CVE-2019-14379 7 Apple, Debian, Fasterxml and 4 more 37 Xcode, Debian Linux, Jackson-databind and 34 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
SubTypeValidator.java in FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.9.9.2 mishandles default typing when ehcache is used (because of net.sf.ehcache.transaction.manager.DefaultTransactionManagerLookup), leading to remote code execution.
CVE-2019-12384 3 Debian, Fasterxml, Redhat 12 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Amq Streams and 9 more 2026-10-08 5.9 Medium
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.9.1 might allow attackers to have a variety of impacts by leveraging failure to block the logback-core class from polymorphic deserialization. Depending on the classpath content, remote code execution may be possible.
CVE-2019-12086 3 Debian, Fasterxml, Redhat 12 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Amq Streams and 9 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
A Polymorphic Typing issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.9. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property) for an externally exposed JSON endpoint, the service has the mysql-connector-java jar (8.0.14 or earlier) in the classpath, and an attacker can host a crafted MySQL server reachable by the victim, an attacker can send a crafted JSON message that allows them to read arbitrary local files on the server. This occurs because of missing com.mysql.cj.jdbc.admin.MiniAdmin validation.
CVE-2018-14719 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more 31 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 28 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.7 might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging failure to block the blaze-ds-opt and blaze-ds-core classes from polymorphic deserialization.
CVE-2018-14718 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more 36 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 33 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.7 might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging failure to block the slf4j-ext class from polymorphic deserialization.
CVE-2018-12022 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Fedoraproject and 2 more 20 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Fedora and 17 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind prior to 2.7.9.4, 2.8.11.2, and 2.9.6. When Default Typing is enabled (either globally or for a specific property), the service has the Jodd-db jar (for database access for the Jodd framework) in the classpath, and an attacker can provide an LDAP service to access, it is possible to make the service execute a malicious payload.
CVE-2018-11307 3 Fasterxml, Oracle, Redhat 18 Jackson-databind, Clusterware, Communications Instant Messaging Server and 15 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
An issue was discovered in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.0.0 through 2.9.5. Use of Jackson default typing along with a gadget class from iBatis allows exfiltration of content. Fixed in 2.7.9.4, 2.8.11.2, and 2.9.6.
CVE-2017-7957 3 Debian, Redhat, Xstream 8 Debian Linux, Fuse, Jboss Amq and 5 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
XStream through 1.4.9, when a certain denyTypes workaround is not used, mishandles attempts to create an instance of the primitive type 'void' during unmarshalling, leading to a remote application crash, as demonstrated by an xstream.fromXML("<void/>") call.
CVE-2013-7285 4 Apache, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more 17 Activemq, Endeca Information Discovery Studio, Fuse Esb Enterprise and 14 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
Xstream API versions up to 1.4.6 and version 1.4.10, if the security framework has not been initialized, may allow a remote attacker to run arbitrary shell commands by manipulating the processed input stream when unmarshaling XML or any supported format. e.g. JSON.
CVE-2020-11619 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more 31 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Active Iq Unified Manager and 28 more 2026-10-08 8.1 High
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.4 mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing, related to org.springframework.aop.config.MethodLocatingFactoryBean (aka spring-aop).
