CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in Foreman. An authenticated attacker with low-level permissions can achieve remote code execution (RCE) by bypassing the safemode sandbox within the templating engine. Due to improper handling of delegated methods, an attacker can append unauthorized functions to the allowed execution list, enabling them to run arbitrary commands on the hosting server.
WookTeam v1.6.6 and before is vulnerable to RCE in the project task export interface /api/project/task/export. The data parameter is base64-decoded and passed directly into the string2array() function in app/Module/Base.php, which executes eval("\$array = $data;") whenever the decoded string starts with array. An attacker can inject arbitrary PHP code into the eval call and achieve RCE.
MCP TypeScript SDK is the official TypeScript SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. Starting in version 1.12.0 and prior to versions 1.31.0 and 2.2.0, the SDK's OAuth client support let the MCP server a client connected to decide which authorization server received the client's OAuth credentials. Stored and pre-provisioned credentials were not bound to the authorization server they belong to. A malicious or compromised MCP server could name its own authorization server in its protected resource metadata. Without any user interaction, the client would send that server the `refresh_token` and `client_secret` stored from an earlier sign-in (1.x), or the configured `client_secret` or signed assertion of a bundled non-interactive provider (1.x and 2.x). Only those applications that use the SDK as an MCP client over HTTP with an `authProvider`: your own `OAuthClientProvider`, or the bundled `ClientCredentialsProvider`, `PrivateKeyJwtProvider`, `StaticPrivateKeyJwtProvider` or (2.x) `CrossAppAccessProvider` and that may connect to an MCP server the owners does not fully trust while holding credentials for a legitimate authorization server are affected. `@modelcontextprotocol/sdk` 1.31.0 (1.x) and `@modelcontextprotocol/client` 2.2.0 (2.x) patch the issue. A workaround for those who cannot upgrade is available. 2.0.0 and 2.1.0 already accept `expectedIssuer`. On 1.x, the only workaround is to connect OAuth-enabled clients only to MCP servers you trust.
Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In @payloadcms/plugin-form-builder versions before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, an attacker can craft a form submission that executes code remotely on the server. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34.
WeasyPrint helps web developers to create PDF documents. Prior to 70.0, the image-loading path in weasyprint/images.py passes fetched image bytes from HTML img URLs, CSS image values, SVG image references, and data URIs to Pillow's generic image dispatcher without excluding EPS or PostScript formats. On hosts with Ghostscript installed, Pillow EpsImagePlugin invokes the interpreter for attacker-controlled PostScript, which can produce interpreter-permitted effects and can lead to remote code execution when the installed Ghostscript version has a usable sandbox bypass. Hosts without Ghostscript do not reach this rasterization path. This issue is fixed in version 70.0.
A vulnerability has been found in InternLM MindSearch 0.1.0. This issue affects the function ExecutionAction.run of the file mindsearch/agent/graph.py of the component Planner Agent. The manipulation of the argument inputs leads to code injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Editor Remote Code Execution (RCE) in Tabs <= 2.5 versions.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to improper neutralization of user-controlled input within the new Function constructor.
A vulnerability was found in code-projects Human Resource Management System 1.0. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /views/admin/liveEventHistory.php of the component Live Event History. The manipulation of the argument eventSubject results in cross site scripting. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used.
auto-changelog before 2.6.1 merges configuration from inside the target repository (the .auto-changelog file and the auto-changelog key in package.json) into its options, and honors security-sensitive options from that untrusted source. The handlebarsSetup option is passed to require(), so running auto-changelog over attacker-controlled repository content (for example, in a CI workflow that checks out an untrusted pull request head, or locally on a forked or third-party repository) executes attacker-chosen code with the privileges of the invoking user or CI job, including access to workflow secrets, without the repository dependencies ever being installed. The plugins option similarly loads attacker-controlled modules from the repository. Under the same conditions, appendGitLog/appendGitTag allow git argument injection (e.g. --output= to write arbitrary files), output allows writing attacker-influenced content to arbitrary paths, and template causes an outbound request to an attacker-chosen URL. Version 2.6.1 treats in-repository configuration as untrusted and refuses to run when it sets these options, unless the new --unsafe-config flag is passed.
| DigitalCanion SA has discovered a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of the product. Authentication may be required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the Configuration → Services → Music on Hold functionality of the web portal listening on TCP port 443. The application is intended to allow users to upload WAV audio files but fails to properly validate the uploaded file type. An attacker can exploit this behavior to upload a malicious shared object (.so) instead of a WAV file. When the uploaded file is subsequently processed by the affected component, attacker-controlled code is loaded and executed in the context of the affected process. This can result in remote code execution and potentially full compromise of the underlying Linux system. |
Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 0.7.2 until 6.64.0, any staff-level user was able to determine the relative ordering of other staff users' hashed passwords. This does not directly disclose password hashes, and does not provide a practical path to recovering a password. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0.
Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 4.39.0 until 6.64.0, staff users with permission to view staff invites were able to discover the secret token of pending invites, including invites for roles with higher privileges than their own. This could allow a staff user to escalate their privileges by accepting a pending invite. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0.
Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.10.3 until 6.64.0, a vulnerability in how Ghost loads theme translation files allowed an authenticated Administrator to execute arbitrary code on the server via a crafted theme. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0.
Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 5.9.0 until 6.44.1, an input validation issue allowed members to access comments they were not authorized to access. This issue is fixed in version 6.44.1.
A code injection vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS's BOVPN Over TLS client configuration handling allows an attacker who controls the remote VPN server to execute arbitrary commands as root on the connecting Firebox.
Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0847, runtime/autoload/vimball.vim allows a crafted vimball member named .VimballRecord to overwrite the installation record with attacker-chosen commands. When vimball#RmVimball() later processes the matching record entry, the stored Ex commands, including operating-system commands invoked through :!, execute with the privileges of the user running Vim. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0847.
Immich is a high-performance self-hosted photo and video management solution. Prior to 3.2.4, an authenticated non-admin user could upload SVG files that thumbnail-generation code in server/src/repositories/media.repository.ts passed to libvips. Files that bypassed libvips' native SVG loader fell through to ImageMagick, where attacker-controlled <image href> values reached unrestricted MSL and VIDEO coder operations. By storing one crafted asset and referencing its path from a second delayed-marker SVG, an attacker could execute code in the immich-server container when thumbnail processing ran. This issue is fixed in version 3.2.4.
A security vulnerability has been detected in getformwork formwork up to 2.3.12. Impacted is the function DomSanitizer::sanitizeNodeAttribute of the file formwork/src/Sanitizer/DomSanitizer.php of the component URI Sanitizer. Such manipulation of the argument formaction leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 2.3.13 is recommended to address this issue. The name of the patch is 729701e59c5886685c5a1d477bdc3035e41f18b1. Upgrading the affected component is advised.
Tinypool is a minimal Node.js worker thread pool implementation. Prior to 2.1.2, Tinypool reads filename from a caller-supplied options object in pool.run(task, options) without requiring an own property, so a polluted Object.prototype.filename can replace the intended worker module. Applications are affected only when they pass their own second-argument options object to pool.run(); calls without that argument use the trusted default options object. An attacker who can first pollute the prototype can cause the worker pool to load attacker-selected JavaScript and can read or modify task data with the host process's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.2.
