Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in ShortPixel ShortPixel Image Optimizer shortpixel-image-optimiser allows Stored XSS.This issue affects ShortPixel Image Optimizer: from n/a through 6.5.6.
Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) an Use of Hard-coded Credentials vulnerability in the csm-docs. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure.9.8
Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) an Use of Hard-coded Credentials vulnerability in the CSM Authorization. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a local attacker to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information and modify transaction data due to the use of hard-coded credentials.
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Averta Master Slider master-slider allows Reflected XSS.This issue affects Master Slider: from n/a through 3.11.5.
A security flaw has been discovered in SourceCodester Drug Recommendation System 1.0. This impacts an unknown function of the file Admin/add_drug.php. Performing a manipulation results in cross site scripting. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks.
Penpot is an open-source design and prototyping platform. Prior to 2.18.0, authenticated users with file-edit permission can upload SVG media whose scripts, event-handler attributes, and foreignObject elements are stored without sanitization and served as image/svg+xml from the Penpot origin. A victim who navigates to the asset URL executes attacker-controlled JavaScript in that origin, allowing requests and data access with the victim's Penpot session authority. This issue is fixed in version 2.18.0.
Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 5.94.0 until 6.64.0, when creating a bookmark card, Ghost could store non-image files fetched from an external website as bookmark icons or thumbnails. This allowed any staff user, including Contributors, to host arbitrary HTML on the site's domain, possibly resulting in compromise of other staff users' admin sessions. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, the deployments/aio/community/ and deployments/cli/community/ manifests provide fixed, publicly known SECRET_KEY and LIVE_SERVER_SECRET_KEY defaults that remain active when operators do not override them. The top-level setup.sh randomizes secrets only for the development Docker Compose path, leaving unchanged aio and cli community deployments with shared production secrets. Knowledge of SECRET_KEY enables attackers to forge Django-signed values and compromise accounts or sessions. Knowledge of LIVE_SERVER_SECRET_KEY bypasses live-service authentication on unchanged community deployments. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
LearnPress plugin for WordPress through 4.4.9.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated instructors to inject scripts via quiz question hint and explanation fields. Attackers with the Instructor role can submit unsanitized payloads through the update_question AJAX handler that execute in the session of every student taking the quiz.
Gitea's container registry served blob downloads with a `Content-Type` taken from the media type declared in pushed image manifests, without a `Content-Disposition` or restrictive content security policy. A user who can push container images can publish a blob containing HTML and JavaScript with a `text/html` media type. When a victim who is authenticated to the instance opens the blob URL in a browser, the script runs on the Gitea origin and can perform actions as the victim, such as creating API tokens.
An SQL user using Impala up to and including version 4.5.2 with only SELECT permission can put JavaScript in a table alias and make it run in another user's browser when that user opens the query plan in Impala's Web UI. This is stored XSS (CWE-79). Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.5.3.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of ClearPass Policy Manager could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against an administrative user of the interface. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary script code in a victim's browser in the context of the affected interface.
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (“Cross-site Scripting”) in ASUS router modules allows a remote attacker to read DOM information, modify router settings, and cause a denial-of-service condition when an authenticated user visits a crafted URL.Refer to the '
Security Update for ASUS Router Firmware ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
The documentation XML-RPC server in Python through 2.7.16, 3.x through 3.6.9, and 3.7.x through 3.7.4 has XSS via the server_title field. This occurs in Lib/DocXMLRPCServer.py in Python 2.x, and in Lib/xmlrpc/server.py in Python 3.x. If set_server_title is called with untrusted input, arbitrary JavaScript can be delivered to clients that visit the http URL for this server.
A vulnerability in a client interface of HPE Networking ClearPass Policy Manager could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to conduct a DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the affected client interface. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary script code in a victim's browser context within the affected client interface.
Sercomm Model Etisalat Model S3- AC2100 is affected by Cross Site Scripting (XSS) via the firmware update page.
The CakeResponse::download() method in lib/Cake/Network/CakeResponse.php constructs a Content-Disposition header by directly interpolating a caller-supplied filename into a quoted-string value without sanitization. Two distinct injection vectors exist in the unpatched code. First, if the filename contains C0 control characters (CR or LF), PHP refuses to emit the entire Content-Disposition header, silently dropping the attachment disposition. The response body is then served with its own Content-Type (for example text/html for an .html attachment) and renders inline in the browser on the application origin, creating a stored cross-site scripting condition. The commit message notes this is reachable even when the download_attachments_on_load setting is enabled, meaning a victim merely needs to view a page that triggers the download. Second, a double-quote character in the filename terminates the quoted-string value early, permitting injection of additional Content-Disposition parameters. The affected code path covers all callers of CakeResponse::download(), including attribute downloads, proposal downloads, and restSearch exports. An authenticated user who can create or upload an attachment with a crafted filename (for example through MISP attribute naming or proposal attachment naming) can store the malicious filename. When any other authenticated user views the affected page, the unsanitized filename is reflected into the HTTP response header, resulting in header manipulation and potential execution of arbitrary HTML or JavaScript in the context of the application origin. The security impact is equivalent to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability, allowing session hijacking, data exfiltration, and unauthorized actions on behalf of the victim.
The Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via registration metadata in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.1 This is due to insufficient escaping in `ExceptionalElements::image_element()`, which concatenates a user-meta value straight into an `<img src="…">` attribute. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute whenever a user accesses a page rendering a Kirki users collection whose image element is bound to one of the nine registration meta fields. Requires public user registration to be enabled and a published page carrying a `kirki-register` element, which prints the required element nonce into the public markup.
Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in the Forums feature of OpenText Content Management Content Server could allow a bad actor to inject malicious code into a Forums web page.
