CVE-2021-40690 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more 27 Cxf, Santuario Xml Security For Java, Tomee and 24 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
All versions of Apache Santuario - XML Security for Java prior to 2.2.3 and 2.1.7 are vulnerable to an issue where the "secureValidation" property is not passed correctly when creating a KeyInfo from a KeyInfoReference element. This allows an attacker to abuse an XPath Transform to extract any local .xml files in a RetrievalMethod element.
CVE-2021-37137 6 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 3 more 24 Debian Linux, Oncommand Insight, Netty and 21 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
The Snappy frame decoder function doesn't restrict the chunk length which may lead to excessive memory usage. Beside this it also may buffer reserved skippable chunks until the whole chunk was received which may lead to excessive memory usage as well. This vulnerability can be triggered by supplying malicious input that decompresses to a very big size (via a network stream or a file) or by sending a huge skippable chunk.
CVE-2021-36090 4 Apache, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 36 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 33 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' zip package.
CVE-2020-5421 4 Netapp, Oracle, Redhat and 1 more 39 Oncommand Insight, Snap Creator Framework, Snapcenter and 36 more 2026-10-08 6.5 Medium
In Spring Framework versions 5.2.0 - 5.2.8, 5.1.0 - 5.1.17, 5.0.0 - 5.0.18, 4.3.0 - 4.3.28, and older unsupported versions, the protections against RFD attacks from CVE-2015-5211 may be bypassed depending on the browser used through the use of a jsessionid path parameter.
CVE-2020-13935 8 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 5 more 23 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 20 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
The payload length in a WebSocket frame was not correctly validated in Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.36, 8.5.0 to 8.5.56 and 7.0.27 to 7.0.104. Invalid payload lengths could trigger an infinite loop. Multiple requests with invalid payload lengths could lead to a denial of service.
CVE-2020-13956 5 Apache, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more 27 Httpclient, Active Iq Unified Manager, Snapcenter and 24 more 2026-10-08 5.3 Medium
Apache HttpClient versions prior to version 4.5.13 and 5.0.3 can misinterpret malformed authority component in request URIs passed to the library as java.net.URI object and pick the wrong target host for request execution.
CVE-2021-39152 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more 21 Debian Linux, Fedora, Snapmanager and 18 more 2026-10-07 8.5 High
XStream is a simple library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In affected versions this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to request data from internal resources that are not publicly available only by manipulating the processed input stream with a Java runtime version 14 to 8. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the [Security Framework](https://x-stream.github.io/security.html#framework), you will have to use at least version 1.4.18.
CVE-2021-39151 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more 21 Debian Linux, Fedora, Snapmanager and 18 more 2026-10-07 8.5 High
XStream is a simple library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In affected versions this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to load and execute arbitrary code from a remote host only by manipulating the processed input stream. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. XStream 1.4.18 uses no longer a blacklist by default, since it cannot be secured for general purpose.

XStream is a simple library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In affected versions this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to load and execute arbitrary code from a remote host only by manipulating the processed input stream. A user is only affected if using the version out of the box with JDK 1.7u21 or below. However, this scenario can be adjusted easily to an external Xalan that works regardless of the version of the Java runtime. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. CVE-2021-29425 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 69 Commons Io, Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager and 66 more 2026-10-07 6.5 Medium
In Apache Commons IO before 2.7, When invoking the method FileNameUtils.normalize with an improper input string, like "//../foo", or "\\..\foo", the result would be the same value, thus possibly providing access to files in the parent directory, but not further above (thus "limited" path traversal), if the calling code would use the result to construct a path value.
