A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel in versions prior to v5.14-rc1. Missing size validations on inbound SCTP packets may allow the kernel to read uninitialized memory.
CVE-2021-34866 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 19 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 16 more 2026-10-08 7.8 High
This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Linux Kernel 5.14-rc3. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of eBPF programs. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied eBPF programs, which can result in a type confusion condition. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel. Was ZDI-CAN-14689.
CVE-2021-20320 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-08 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in s390 eBPF JIT in bpf_jit_insn in arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c in the Linux kernel. In this flaw, a local attacker with special user privilege can circumvent the verifier and may lead to a confidentiality problem.
CVE-2020-27170 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2026-10-08 4.7 Medium
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.8. kernel/bpf/verifier.c performs undesirable out-of-bounds speculation on pointer arithmetic, leading to side-channel attacks that defeat Spectre mitigations and obtain sensitive information from kernel memory, aka CID-f232326f6966. This affects pointer types that do not define a ptr_limit.
CVE-2020-25639 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 5 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-10-08 4.4 Medium
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel's GPU Nouveau driver functionality in versions prior to 5.12-rc1 in the way the user calls ioctl DRM_IOCTL_NOUVEAU_CHANNEL_ALLOC. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system.
CVE-2019-20095 4 Linux, Netapp, Opensuse and 1 more 21 Linux Kernel, 8300, 8300 Firmware and 18 more 2026-10-08 5.5 Medium
mwifiex_tm_cmd in drivers/net/wireless/marvell/mwifiex/cfg80211.c in the Linux kernel before 5.1.6 has some error-handling cases that did not free allocated hostcmd memory, aka CID-003b686ace82. This will cause a memory leak and denial of service.
CVE-2019-19530 4 Debian, Linux, Opensuse and 1 more 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Leap and 2 more 2026-10-08 4.6 Medium
In the Linux kernel before 5.2.10, there is a use-after-free bug that can be caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/usb/class/cdc-acm.c driver, aka CID-c52873e5a1ef.
CVE-2019-19081 3 Linux, Opensuse, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Leap, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-08 5.9 Medium
A memory leak in the nfp_flower_spawn_vnic_reprs() function in drivers/net/ethernet/netronome/nfp/flower/main.c in the Linux kernel before 5.3.4 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption), aka CID-8ce39eb5a67a.
CVE-2019-19066 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2026-10-08 4.7 Medium
A memory leak in the bfad_im_get_stats() function in drivers/scsi/bfa/bfad_attr.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering bfa_port_get_stats() failures, aka CID-0e62395da2bd.
CVE-2019-15807 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2026-10-08 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel before 5.1.13, there is a memory leak in drivers/scsi/libsas/sas_expander.c when SAS expander discovery fails. This will cause a BUG and denial of service.
CVE-2019-15217 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 9 more 2026-10-08 4.6 Medium
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.2.3. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/media/usb/zr364xx/zr364xx.c driver.
CVE-2016-0718 10 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 7 more 16 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 13 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
Expat allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a malformed input document, which triggers a buffer overflow.
CVE-2023-4459 2 Linux, Redhat 7 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2026-10-08 5.5 Medium
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in vmxnet3_rq_cleanup in drivers/net/vmxnet3/vmxnet3_drv.c in the networking sub-component in vmxnet3 in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow a local attacker with normal user privilege to cause a denial of service due to a missing sanity check during cleanup.
CVE-2023-39176 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-08 5.8 Medium
A flaw was found within the parsing of SMB2 requests that have a transform header in the kernel ksmbd module. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Linux. Only systems with ksmbd enabled are vulnerable to this CVE.
CVE-2024-35937 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2026-10-08 8.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: check A-MSDU format more carefully If it looks like there's another subframe in the A-MSDU but the header isn't fully there, we can end up reading data out of bounds, only to discard later. Make this a bit more careful and check if the subframe header can even be present.
CVE-2020-35501 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-07 3.4 Low
A flaw was found in the Linux kernels implementation of audit rules, where a syscall can unexpectedly not be correctly not be logged by the audit subsystem
CVE-2024-41062 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-03 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bluetooth/l2cap: sync sock recv cb and release The problem occurs between the system call to close the sock and hci_rx_work, where the former releases the sock and the latter accesses it without lock protection. CPU0 CPU1 ---- ---- sock_close hci_rx_work l2cap_sock_release hci_acldata_packet l2cap_sock_kill l2cap_recv_frame sk_free l2cap_conless_channel l2cap_sock_recv_cb If hci_rx_work processes the data that needs to be received before the sock is closed, then everything is normal; Otherwise, the work thread may access the released sock when receiving data. Add a chan mutex in the rx callback of the sock to achieve synchronization between the sock release and recv cb. Sock is dead, so set chan data to NULL, avoid others use invalid sock pointer.
