| A flaw was found in PackageKit in the way some of the methods exposed by the Transaction interface examines files. This issue allows a local user to measure the time the methods take to execute and know whether a file owned by root or other users exists. | ||||
| CVE-2021-40690 | 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more | 27 Cxf, Santuario Xml Security For Java, Tomee and 24 more | 2026-10-08 | 7.5 High |
| All versions of Apache Santuario - XML Security for Java prior to 2.2.3 and 2.1.7 are vulnerable to an issue where the "secureValidation" property is not passed correctly when creating a KeyInfo from a KeyInfoReference element. This allows an attacker to abuse an XPath Transform to extract any local .xml files in a RetrievalMethod element. | ||||
| CVE-2021-21290 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 3 more | 27 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Secure Agent and 24 more | 2026-10-08 | 6.2 Medium |
| Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. In Netty before version 4.1.59.Final there is a vulnerability on Unix-like systems involving an insecure temp file. When netty's multipart decoders are used local information disclosure can occur via the local system temporary directory if temporary storing uploads on the disk is enabled. On unix-like systems, the temporary directory is shared between all user. As such, writing to this directory using APIs that do not explicitly set the file/directory permissions can lead to information disclosure. Of note, this does not impact modern MacOS Operating Systems. The method "File.createTempFile" on unix-like systems creates a random file, but, by default will create this file with the permissions "-rw-r--r--". Thus, if sensitive information is written to this file, other local users can read this information. This is the case in netty's "AbstractDiskHttpData" is vulnerable. This has been fixed in version 4.1.59.Final. As a workaround, one may specify your own "java.io.tmpdir" when you start the JVM or use "DefaultHttpDataFactory.setBaseDir(...)" to set the directory to something that is only readable by the current user. | ||||
| CVE-2020-17521 | 4 Apache, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 24 Atlas, Groovy, Snapcenter and 21 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| Apache Groovy provides extension methods to aid with creating temporary directories. Prior to this fix, Groovy's implementation of those extension methods was using a now superseded Java JDK method call that is potentially not secure on some operating systems in some contexts. Users not using the extension methods mentioned in the advisory are not affected, but may wish to read the advisory for further details. Versions Affected: 2.0 to 2.4.20, 2.5.0 to 2.5.13, 3.0.0 to 3.0.6, and 4.0.0-alpha-1. Fixed in versions 2.4.21, 2.5.14, 3.0.7, 4.0.0-alpha-2. | ||||

| CVE-2021-35477 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel through 5.13.7, an unprivileged BPF program can obtain sensitive information from kernel memory via a Speculative Store Bypass side-channel attack because a certain preempting store operation does not necessarily occur before a store operation that has an attacker-controlled value. | ||||
| CVE-2021-34693 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| net/can/bcm.c in the Linux kernel through 5.12.10 allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel stack memory because parts of a data structure are uninitialized. | ||||
| CVE-2021-34556 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel through 5.13.7, an unprivileged BPF program can obtain sensitive information from kernel memory via a Speculative Store Bypass side-channel attack because the protection mechanism neglects the possibility of uninitialized memory locations on the BPF stack. | ||||
| CVE-2021-31879 | 3 Broadcom, Gnu, Netapp | 8 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Wget, 500f and 5 more | 2026-10-08 | 6.1 Medium |

| CVE-2021-24122 | 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more | 6 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Product Lifecycle Management and 3 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.9 Medium |
| When serving resources from a network location using the NTFS file system, Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M9, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.39, 8.5.0 to 8.5.59 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.106 were susceptible to JSP source code disclosure in some configurations. The root cause was the unexpected behaviour of the JRE API File.getCanonicalPath() which in turn was caused by the inconsistent behaviour of the Windows API (FindFirstFileW) in some circumstances. | ||||
| CVE-2021-20320 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in s390 eBPF JIT in bpf_jit_insn in arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c in the Linux kernel. In this flaw, a local attacker with special user privilege can circumvent the verifier and may lead to a confidentiality problem. | ||||
| CVE-2020-27170 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2026-10-08 | 4.7 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.8. kernel/bpf/verifier.c performs undesirable out-of-bounds speculation on pointer arithmetic, leading to side-channel attacks that defeat Spectre mitigations and obtain sensitive information from kernel memory, aka CID-f232326f6966. This affects pointer types that do not define a ptr_limit. | ||||
| CVE-2020-24511 | 4 Debian, Intel, Netapp and 1 more | 11 Debian Linux, Microcode, Fas\/aff Bios and 8 more | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium |
