| CVE-2026-106431 | 1 Mongodb | 1 C Driver | 2026-10-08 | 5.7 Medium |
| An off-by-one error in the BSON bulk document writer in the MongoDB C Driver can write one zero byte immediately past a heap allocation when a document ends at a specific buffer boundary. An actor who can influence the size of documents serialized by an embedding application can corrupt adjacent process memory or terminate the process. Reaching this issue requires the application to use the BSON bulk-writer API and produce a precise cumulative document size. | ||||

| CVE-2021-3711 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Openssl and 3 more | 32 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 29 more | 2026-10-08 | 9.8 Critical |
| In order to decrypt SM2 encrypted data an application is expected to call the API function EVP_PKEY_decrypt(). Typically an application will call this function twice. The first time, on entry, the "out" parameter can be NULL and, on exit, the "outlen" parameter is populated with the buffer size required to hold the decrypted plaintext. The application can then allocate a sufficiently sized buffer and call EVP_PKEY_decrypt() again, but this time passing a non-NULL value for the "out" parameter. A bug in the implementation of the SM2 decryption code means that the calculation of the buffer size required to hold the plaintext returned by the first call to EVP_PKEY_decrypt() can be smaller than the actual size required by the second call. This can lead to a buffer overflow when EVP_PKEY_decrypt() is called by the application a second time with a buffer that is too small. A malicious attacker who is able present SM2 content for decryption to an application could cause attacker chosen data to overflow the buffer by up to a maximum of 62 bytes altering the contents of other data held after the buffer, possibly changing application behaviour or causing the application to crash. The location of the buffer is application dependent but is typically heap allocated. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1l (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1k). | ||||
| CVE-2021-3520 | 5 Lz4 Project, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more | 12 Lz4, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 9 more | 2026-10-08 | 9.8 Critical |
| There's a flaw in lz4. An attacker who submits a crafted file to an application linked with lz4 may be able to trigger an integer overflow, leading to calling of memmove() on a negative size argument, causing an out-of-bounds write and/or a crash. The greatest impact of this flaw is to availability, with some potential impact to confidentiality and integrity as well. | ||||
| CVE-2021-39537 | 2 Apple, Invisible-island | 3 Mac Os X, Macos, Ncurses | 2026-10-08 | 8.8 High |
| An issue was discovered in ncurses through v6.2-1. _nc_captoinfo in captoinfo.c has a heap-based buffer overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2021-38166 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 7.8 High |
| In kernel/bpf/hashtab.c in the Linux kernel through 5.13.8, there is an integer overflow and out-of-bounds write when many elements are placed in a single bucket. NOTE: exploitation might be impractical without the CAP_SYS_ADMIN capability. | ||||

| CVE-2018-1000030 | 2 Canonical, Python | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Python | 2026-10-08 | 3.6 Low |
| Python 2.7.14 is vulnerable to a Heap-Buffer-Overflow as well as a Heap-Use-After-Free. Python versions prior to 2.7.14 may also be vulnerable and it appears that Python 2.7.17 and prior may also be vulnerable however this has not been confirmed. The vulnerability lies when multiply threads are handling large amounts of data. In both cases there is essentially a race condition that occurs. For the Heap-Buffer-Overflow, Thread 2 is creating the size for a buffer, but Thread1 is already writing to the buffer without knowing how much to write. So when a large amount of data is being processed, it is very easy to cause memory corruption using a Heap-Buffer-Overflow. As for the Use-After-Free, Thread3->Malloc->Thread1->Free's->Thread2-Re-uses-Free'd Memory. The PSRT has stated that this is not a security vulnerability due to the fact that the attacker must be able to run code, however in some situations, such as function as a service, this vulnerability can potentially be used by an attacker to violate a trust boundary, as such the DWF feels this issue deserves a CVE. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107570 | 1 Mutt | 1 Mutt | 2026-10-08 | 2.5 Low |
| heap OOB write in convert_file_from_to() via a crafted Content-Type header allows attacker to OOB write when email is used as a template. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106432 | 1 Mongodb | 1 Php Driver | 2026-10-08 | 3.6 Low |
| The BSON encoder in the MongoDB PHP Driver converts a string length to a 32-bit value without validation. When an affected application encodes a string near 4 GiB, the allocation size can wrap while the copy operation uses the original length. The resulting heap buffer overflow can corrupt process memory or terminate the PHP process. Reaching this issue requires a non-default runtime configuration that permits multi-gigabyte values. No MongoDB server interaction is required. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16163 | 1 Ibm | 4 Datapower Gateway 1050, Datapower Gateway 1060, Datapower Gateway 106cd and 1 more | 2026-10-08 | 8.6 High |
| IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote attacker to cause memory corruption due to an out-of-bounds write. | ||||
